News has just broken that Lance (McNaught) Cade has died aged just 29. Yet another loss to the Wrestling world and at such a young age this is sure to come as a massive shock to all. My thoughts go to the family of Lance Mcnaught. No more details are currently available but I will add them into this post as soon as they become available.

UPDATE:

Lance Cade is now said to have died from heart failure. In a side note both Test and Cade died on a Friday the 13th - suspicions?

Black Ops Special Edition

Well this is it! The prestige edition of Call of Duty Black Ops! I thought the NV Goggles were a step too far but what you are looking at is the next level. That RC car contains a colour camera and microphone and with an effective range of 200ft it will make spying on your neighbours a whole lot easier. You will also get a Black Ops Medal, exclusive Avatar outfit, four exclusive COOP maps, steel case and very large box.

The Hardened version is coming too with all of the above - minus the RC car and large box. I think I'll be grabbing a Hardened as I am a sucker for added extras, but not as far as an RC car! The Avatar outfit is a nice addition as I find that I always end up putting any added digital content to much more use than the medals etc. No official prices but estimates are at $150 and $80 respectively.

What do you think? Going for the big one or just going for a boring old DVD case with a disc in it?

Longboarding

While I don't think Longboarding will ever over take Skateboarding in popularity, it is certainly gaining ground. Taking the line of surfing on concrete to a whole new level are companies like Original and Loaded that are pushing the sport to the limits. With professional riders now Longboarding as their primary extreme sport and more new tricks being developed the sport is going places never before thought possible.

I have three longboards and am currently progressing into more trick oriented riding. Starting out with an Original Torpedo 40 I've had a load of fun cruising and carving on the board. Next I stayed with Original and managed to grab one of their hard to find, due to their popularity, Apex 34's. Now as I'm quite a tall guy, this board was just a little too short for my liking, but I have managed some cross-stepping and hippy jumps on the rather small deck.

The Loaded Tan Tien is my latest board which I chose as it has been specifically designed to advance freestyle and trick riding on longboards. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet but plan on spending most of next week on it! I'll be sure to let you guys know how it rides and will be posting a video review on YouTube! Stay rolling!

DiRT 3

This is the first teaser trailer for DiRT 3 and simply put - it's awesome! Showing seamless transitions between extreme weather effects and Ken Block pulling some of his signature moves this could be the definitive racing game of 2011. The game will boast a strong selection of 50 cars ranging from the new to the old and much like DiRT 2 the game will feature a wide variety of event types. DiRT 2 was one of the best games out of the blocks (no pun intended) last year and the most fun I've had in a racer in years. I loved driving in the cockpit view in DiRT2 so I can only imagine the fun that's going to be had with the amazing weather detail shown in that trailer!

First!

My first post on my new blog! Well, what can I do with this? Looks like I can do quite a lot! I'm going to be sharing with you all my thoughts, creative pursuits, ideas and hopefully try to make you think. I'm going to start off by posting some pictures I created the other day. They're totally random but make what you want of them. Their meaning is whatever you make it!
